tigerflight-eduTigerFlight Foundation is based in Rome, Georgia at Richard B. Russell Airport (RMG).

The TigerFlight Foundation’s mission is to inspire youth and adults to become “Pilots in Command” of their own lives.

The Foundation is a 501C3 non profit foundation and is accepting tax deductible donations. All donations go toward the children’s motivational and character development program. Major foundation components include TigerFlight Formation Flight Team, TigerFlight Museum, and our Children’s Education and Motivational Program.

Founded in the year 2000 by two Atlanta-area pilots to enjoy the challenge of formation flying and to promote a unique aircraft.

The TigerFlight formation flight team

The purpose of the flight team includes:

  • Missing man formation honors and services
  • Patriotic and ceremonial flyovers
  • Air show performances and static displays
  • Opportunities to develop and refine flying skills

 The TigerFlight motivational program

The motivational and educational programs are designed to inspire students to take control of and be responsible for their futures. Components of the program include:

  • Second Saturday first flight opportunities for children ages 11-18 (parents or legal guardians must be present)
  • TigerFlight Pilot in Command Presentations
  • TigerFlight Challenge Coin Program
  • Overnight activities supporting scout and cadet organizations needing sciences of flight activities and instruction
